About Us

Would you believe April 2010 will be our tenth year living in Brookings! "We continue to love living in Paradise!" We have compiled numerous paintings and photographs of the local area. If you're looking for just the right thing to take home to remind you of our area, please call us at 541-469-9522 and come visit our Artist's Studio and Gallery. You can talk to Len about his painting "work in progress" and learn what new product is being created. Currently he is working on a paintings of the redwoods. If you are on vacation and don't have room to transport purchases, we can ship it for you and most major credit cards are accepted. You might get lucky if Violet has fresh, baked cookies to eat!

Raising chickens is a new endeavor for the Burtons. Len built the "Poultry Palace". The hens lay colored eggs and are sold at the Farmers' Market. Recently he built a "green" greenhouse made our or recycled items and you may want to come see it.

To visit our studio, we are located about eight minutes from the Chetco River Bridge. From 101 hwy, take Constitution Way to the North Bank River Road. Go to Mountain Drive and turn left. Look to the right for the Pelican sign with our house number on - 17169 Mountain Drive. We encourage small group visits. Our drive-way is large but cannot handle 5th wheels and large RV's.
